ABOUT GURJARTRUST

Gurjar Education Welfare Trust is an organisation started by eminent personalities from each work of life coming together to strengthen the cause of social welfare.
The aim of the trust is to provide support, stability and consistency to the struggling talented students coming from under privileged strata of the society. The trust is dedicated to the overall development of the society ranging from providing financial support to students, sports person and professionals who have the talent and spirit but are unable to fulfill their goals due to financial constraints. The trust provides scholarship and financial help and bears the cost of admission and academics as well as bearing the training expenditure of deserving youth. Setting up of full fledged English medium Senior Secondary School and hostels providing lodging and boarding facilities is also in the pipeline for the coming years. One such hostel where the students living away from home for coaching purpose or coming to the city for competitive exams is already under construction at West Delhi area by the generous contribution by respected MLA from Rajouri garden Shri Dayanand Chandela ji.

The trust is also helping people in setting up community libraries or gram pathshalas for the benefit of residents of the particular village/town wherein the students can sit for hours for serious study. The trust will make arrangements to provide study material,books and notes to such libraries.

For career counselling the professionals with particular skills in the area will be roped in to offer their services to the students of school, University, libraries and hostels run by the society.

Apart from this the organisation is also committed to eradicate social evils from the society such as female foeticide, child marriage, dowry menace and mrityu bhoj or Bawni.

The trust is also working relentlessly to establish and reinstate the lost glory and honour of Gurjar community. It is the endeavour of each member to promote the exclusive Indian culture particularly Gurjar Sanskriti devoid of superstition and dogma.

The trust is committed to guide and mentoring the upcoming talented youth, to equip dedicated students with literary and professional skills, to spirited sports person to rise and shine and bring laurels for the country and community and take the onus of preserving the honour and glory of our ancestors name and legacy to international levels.We exhort the students to do well and we’ll stand by you through thick and thin.
